Our stainless steel lyras are much better than cheap carbon steel alternatives. The alloys found in stainless steel react with oxygen to protect against rust. With a variety of different options like custom colors and powder coating, our high-quality aerial hoops and rings are sourced and sold to you at a reasonable rate in a time of astronomical price increases.

We all have an inner child that wants to break free from the monotony of adult life. This inner child isn’t concerned about bills, dinner plans, or if Mercury just went retro.

There’s a whole world waiting to be discovered!

To a child, a dishrag is a fancy dress! A lemon peel is a pirate’s eye patch! An anthill is Mount Everest!

We want you to remember fun; remember what it was like to be young.

We want you to open your Coggs’ package with the same wonder and excitement as a child on Christmas morning and begin to play. Even if you have years of training, we want our gear to feel new in your hands. That’s the Zen approach to “beginner’s mind.” It’s the uncarved block. It’s where all possibilities are waiting for you to engage.

We are inspired by the concept of making circus arts as popular as other modes of exercise. And why shouldn’t there be lyras, Cyr wheels, and all the circus joy in every gym and house all over the world? Let’s face it: it’s much more fun than the treadmill.

Join the Coggs’ family. We will take care of you.

Begin by sitting in a chair. Have someone measure you from your bum to the top of your head. Add three inches as a general suggestion. Some people like a bit smaller, others a bit larger.

We measure our lyras from the inside diameter.

Please consult a professional rigger as there are many ways to do rigging dependent on the situation. Make sure all rigging hardware is above 22kN (kiloNewton)-- the kN weight will be stamped on all certified hardware. If there isn’t a kN stamp DO NOT USE.

Personal preference. Some aerialists prefer a double tab as it is more stable and gives the lyra a trapeze feel. Some prefer a single tab as hand placement is easier.

The rig base is 16’x20’.

There is a slight learning curve the first time setting the rig up. After that, allow for around an hour set up time. At least two people should be involved with set up. More hands make for a faster time. Allow the same amount of time for breaking it down.

If you find any issues with your gear, please contact us immediately. We will correct any issues from our end in an urgent manner. If this is a general return, we have a strict 20% restocking fee and purchaser pays for return shipping.

We ship products in a timely manner. Metal equipment (such as rigs, lyras, wheels, and other metal gear) is fabricated per order and takes longer for turn-around time. Please contact us directly about international shipping.
